Here I continue to talk about autism symptoms. Speech development is the second stage that is affected. The child who has autism will not talk as early as other children and something they knew how to say may be forgotten.

Another sign of autism is that the child with autism will not look you in the eye and they will talk differently, either in a song type voice or almost robotic.

The third stage will make parents feel that their child is not developing at the rate which they should. Their movements may be repetitive such as rocking. Or they find it soothing to constantly flap their hands.

The development of their own set of activities will be very significant to them and any alteration of this routine will cause them to become upset. These children are moving all the time and do not rest except very rarely.

They may find moving objects such as tops or cars that will run by themselves quite intriguing. The sensitivity to touch, light, and sound may occur and their idea of pain may be quite different than you and I. The actions that would cause others pain does not seem to touch them.
